Global poverty is, well...global. It feels like an unmovable cause. Impossible to help. Heartbreaking at its core. One of the world's biggest musicians works towards eliminating global poverty. A tall order, even for a rock star. To kick off a major event, he teamed with an a-list movie star to host a discussion about poverty and to empower people to take action. Using Broadnet's TeleForum, a group of celebrity hosts contacted 79,000 people across the country. 10,000 people joined the discussion and learned how to make a difference. Messages and e-mails were sent to millions of others asking for help. It was one step to making a global difference.
